Terrascope has just finished a lot of 16 thin sections from different sites in Czech Republic. Half of the samples came from a well and are full of organic matter and blue clay. The blue clay was very hard to work with and did not want to impregnate correctly. It was very difficult to obtain acceptable quality slides from these samples. The other samples did not make any problem, impregnated well and grinded evenly. We hope that the slides will be useful to the researcher for her geoarchaeology and micromorphology study.
