Some researchers have been asking for microphotographs of our thin sections to assess their quality so I took a couple of the micromorphological thin sections actually in the lab. The pictures were taken on the robust, “oily” microscope I use for checking the slides so the quality of the pictures might not be as good as what you are used to. But I hope that it will give an idea of what to expect if you send samples to Terrascope.
And of course any constructive comment to improve the quality of our slides is welcome! 😉
