Terrascope has just delivered thin sections from a PPNA site in Jordan to a researcher from the University of Barcelona. The samples had been previously impregnated at the University of Cambridge and Terrascope mounted them on 90x60mm slides. The samples come from ancient walls and floors where the researcher is investigating the questions of construction materials and site formation processes using micromorphology technics.
