Terrascope has just finished manufacturing a large set of micromorphological thin sections from various samples taken on the Oppidum of Bibracte (France). The samples were really big as the stratigraphy there is full of rocks and hard to sample. The blocks were sampled in plaster and impregnated in our large vacuum chamber. The thin sections turned out very nice. The impregnation was good, easy, with all these rocks and silts. We hope these slides will help the researchers understand the site, the dynamic of the filling of the rempart ditches, the human activities at the site, and the function of some specific features.
